According to my favourite Islamic lecture of all time, the meaning of our life is In the Pursuit of Truth. Not intended to be all-encompassing, you get to define your own truth. My truth happens to be compassion and Islam.

Ramisa [noun.] white rose.

eternal love, undying and all sustaining. White rose speaks of a love that is sustained more by loyalty, reverence and humility than by red-blooded passion.” [X]

I am a university student, writer, and tea enthusiast. Concurrently studying Law (Honours) and Arts (majoring in Philosophy and English) in order to gain perspective about social justice issues, the power of language, and human connection.

In the future, I hope to become a human rights lawyer on a pro-bono basis and interpret Sharia law (Islamic law) to empower women who are impacted by marriage anxiety and gender-based violence.
